When looking up heater cores at hetercore4u...

Do the dimensions include the tanks or not... If not, how much do I add for them? I'd hate to go get a core only to find out it's too big and have to return it.

Well, I just looked up my core on there for your answer, and the measurement is just the fin area, not including the end-tanks.
My tanks are 3/4" on each end, so the core is 1 1/2" longer than their measurement.

That's just with my core though (89 ford taurus copper/w brass tanks), yours should be the same.

Man! That sucks! Well, I guess I'll just have to be adding about an inch and 1/2 for a good approximation.

Thanks guys!
