Anyone got this and know if it works as advertised? I don't really see any reason for RAM to have to be cooled that far... i'd like to see the tech applied to a CPU cooler if at all possible though... probably too much of a heat load though :-/

EDIT: Wow, i feel stupid... it hasn't even come out yet lol
EDIT: Can a Mod change the title to "Sub-Ambient RAM cooler"?

being " Sub-Ambient thermo-electric cooling subsystem" I believe it would work I use TEC's and thay do just that sub ambient eazy , tho with newer DDR3 ram around 1.65 volts there is hardly any need for this a good fan will do ....then there is recard setting Overclocks if this is what your are going for then maybe it would make since to me ....

Yeah, i realized that mistake after i posted lol

I think it'd be really nice for a CPU or a GPU or maybe even a chipset. RAM just seems kinda overkill for something like this.

its already proven that after decent (=stick a 120mm fan over the ram) no matter of cooling makes your ram really go any faster. including packing it under dry ice. so.. a pelt cooler for your ram? maybe for bragfactor and e-peen but it won't ad *anything* to your oc results.. :) better invest in a better cpu cooler, I guess :)

Or for the price more RAM, a better CPU, a bigger case, another GPU, speakers, a new monitor, more fans, or numerous other things lol
