you said it - your paying through the nose for what? not £600 worth of gpu thats for certain. And yes that is after VAT!!!
Its shocking.

At roughly $1.84 to the GBP, it comes out to $1,104.00 for that card. You could get a P4 3.2GHz EE for less than that. Pure insanity.

or even better an fx53 and mobo - anyone that pays that when the asus v9999 gamers edition is only around£310 - and its an ultra extreme downclocked by 50mhz, is absolutely nuts, or stupid, or both
