Ok, the CC is upon us.

Borging is always on my mind and it's been a while since I've done this.

Fold from a Thumb drive.

Anyone currently doing this?

Client version?

I think what I did before, was to install it, then shut it down (off)
and cut and paste the files onto a thumb drive.

Then run it from the thumb drive on what ever pc I using at the time.
When I was done I could remove the drive and take it with me.

Having FULL ADMIN rights and permission on the PC of course.

Anyone currently Borging machines?

If you mean to take the same drive from computer to computer, with smp clients you must run the same # of threads or it'll restart the work unit. So if you go from a 4 core machine to a 2 core machine. You still need to run -smp 4 if you started the workunit with that.

any info about a notfred type usb client?

I never could get that one to work for me for some reason.

Could have been the ID -10T error I encountered.

Might try the 6.34 install, and transfer the files over to a usb from there.
