Is there any known desktop motherboard that will support these processors in the BIOS? These CPU's look like an interesting alternative over a desktop Celeron because of the 256K l2 cache versus 128K of a ordinary Northwood Celeron. Could these be a Duron alternative? They certainly aren't expensive... if you would care to see at this link: http://www.centrix-intl.com/list.asp?CategoryID=55

A 1.8GHz Pentium 4 is more powerful than a 1.4GHz Duron, so could the same hold true for a 2.0GHz Celeron? Do they scale as well in overclocking ability as a Northwood Pentium 4? I hope someone can shed some light on this, I'm interested.

hi,
we have here nice long treads for the c4m, but i can't find the.
damn stupid new search here dont work anymore... find nothing...

Thanks for the links, Rio. I'm very tempted to buy one of these now. So in a nutshell, you could say Mobile Celerons are just basically Wilamette P4's?
