What's after the 3960X

So as the title said what next? I was planning to upgrade to the 3960X and 3x 680's but it just does not seem all that exciting? I half decided to wait for the next gen Nvidia cards but I have no clue what's coming for intel these days

You could always go with a 10 Core Intel E7-8870 with 30mb of cache and 4- 680's...

yeah but they don't OC and the 680's are just not enough of a jump from my 580's for the cost and work involved
