Video Card cooling mod: Screwed fan into stock Rage Fury Pro heatsink, Replaced Geforce 2 Pro hsf with a hacked up PIII heatsink fan, Replaced Radeon 8500 heatsink with large P1 heatsink (used to be a passive solution) and screwed in fan, Replaced TNT Riva hsf with larger passive hs: +1

Other things I have done that don't count:
OCed Athlon 64, Added heatsinks to Southbridges and Clock generators, Put larger passive heatsink on my Xbox GPU when the fan started whining, put ramsink on Xbox southbridge (MCPX chip), fixed laptop power brick by soldering power wires directly to PCB (connector was broken), installed Celeron (PII based) into AT case.

Total of 11 for red belt, though I should have black soon when I get back home and do the VCore/Vdimm mod on my ASRock.

Note: homebrew phase change was a terrible failure. Freezer unit was almost completely extracted and ready to build the reservoir when I bent a piece of tubing a bit too much and all of the coolant escaped. Since the freezer was free, I was out no money and claimed the project neither a failure or success.

So I lie somewhere between 9 and 10 points, which would make me a RED belt.

Hmm... Two and a half years since I first posted that. Let's see how I rank now:

11 XP Mobile 2500+ overclocked to I don't even remember what now...I think 2.8 or something.
12 Opteron 144 overclocked to 2.8 (FX57)
13 put a new HSF and ramsinks on a Gf4 ti4200
14 Flashed an x800GTO2 to x850 and overclocked to XT speeds

It looks like I have now gone well into the BLACK belt in the dojo of Ubercloxx0rs.

Replaced northbridge TIM with Ceramique (apparantly this counts as a mod, lol) and adding an 80mm fan blowing on it suspended by zip ties

Lapped my Opty 165 (IHS's count for this, right?)

sweet.. nice to see people haven't forgotten about this thread. Maybe we should have somoene go through and make a list of who has obtained what 'belt'.

In addition, I just modded my Armor case. This included stripping the entire case, and cutting holes for a radiator in the bottom, cutting the back fan holes out and cutting the bottom 5.25 bay off. 9 points.
