I am looking to network (at first) 12 computers, then later on add an additional 12.

It will pretty much be a cluster, for doing renders and also DC projects. Whatever the client wants to use the cpu power for.

All mobos will be Gigabit enabled, so if possible a gigabit switch.

Something under $500 CDN would be nice if possible.

i cant remember what they call those ports, but they let you install little modules to allow for GB ethernet, or fibre connections.

2 dual-personality according to newegg, however, they're GBIC modules i think (or SFP i want to say)

edit: mini Gbic slots :) or as i said SFP slots

thanks guys, I will either go with the cisco or the dell :) infact will probably get two.
