Has anyone tried the thermoengine and proved it is effective for a 1.2ghz AMD CPU??? and whats the c/w? for this heatsink ??? any idea???

The Vantec FCE-62540D needs to be added to the "good" list.

If you look at Joe's article on the main page, most heat sinks perform decently with a strong enough fan.

All of the testing I've done on the 266 chips has been with a Delta fan due to the amount of heat. Even with a "good" heat sink and Delta fan, load temp's are 42C-45C...and that with an ambient of 21C (70F).
