AMD Radeon HD 5830 issue found during validation process

Maybe this is why i have lost 2 hd2900's with win 7 and ati.I had one card go last month,win 7 with 9.12 driver and now this card quit after 8 hrs of the latest 10.1 driver.I was not even gaming,after i updated drivers the pc ran fine until i went to start it up today.Something aint right.Has any others lost any cards recently after doing a driver update?

This card seems really interesting as it would fill the gap between the 5770 and 5850. I read where it could be a downclocked version of the 5850 with performance equivalent to that of the 4890. I would like to see this cost less than $200 so I can pick one up for my secondary gaming rig.
