I want to leave linux in a laptop on disc and everytime you reboot it reads the disc loads the files and goes straight to the linux desktop.

i dont want a keyboard to really be needed so im thinking do they have unattended discs? i put it in and let it go.....

:comp: Come on Linux fans let know if this is possible.

If you are refering to specifically installations, there are kickstart files with PXE boot etc that will do the trick
