I doubt anyone here knows anything about the Google Chrome Operating System. But I figured I would ask just in case there is someone who knows something

My mom bought a ChromeBook. Which is apparently a laptop that runs on
Google's Chrome OS.

She read the reviews on amazon and it was said to be a good laptop
for housewives and such who don't know much about computers.

The Problem is this.

She's trying to sell stuff on craigslist because we're moving.
Just upload the photos onto CL right? I can't figure it out
She asked me for help and I am totally stumped.

Uploading the photos from the camera is easy.
Just plug in the SD card and it uploads the photos automatic.

But where do they go? There appears to be no freaking filesytem.

they Go to "Google + photos" ?
No matter what photo is it....the "information" button says the file name is "Local Photo"

IT appears that this laptop is made just for Google+ .

I don't even know what Google+ is ...Other than it's google's version of facebook.

WHERE IS THE FILESYSTEM?
How do I see files? This computer seems to have no onboard file system. Everything goes onto "Google Drive" which is an online drive??
Like I said I doubt anyone on here know's anything about this operating system, because to me it is totally worthless.

Unless you just want to share photos on google+

Yay! 270 dollars for a laptop that browses and can share stuff on Google+ ???

what the junk. I wish I could write Google about this, that company is just too big for that.

With the SD card that has the pictures you want to load to Craigslist, can you not select that as a photo source for uploading to Craigslist?

Dang Synthetic. I didn't even think about that. I just became obsessed with trying to find the file for the photo. Hadn't even tried starting with craigslist.

I just picked up the laptop, and was like ' O.K., wheres the file?"

DarkV - Didn't try that either, I'll try both options and let you know how it works out.

Do you have Google Chrome?

Don't have a Chromebook, but have used one for 5 minutes, own an android phone and use plenty of other Google products. Just seems like leaving the memory card in and selecting the file from there is a logical course of action to be honest.

Oh theres more problems than that sir.
There are NO files......

I did leave leave the SD card in, through the whole process.
It justs uploads the pictures. and that's it. There is no way to view the SD card as a Drive.
It doesn't even exist as far as chrome is concered.
no way to view the card or whats on it.
just uploads the pictures, puts them on Google + pictures and that's it.
Even worse.
Every time you put the card in, it starts to upload all 345 pictures. Again.
after they were uploaded yesterday. and it takes FOREVER.
then. It wan'ts to "Automatticaly back up" all of them.
Again! and that takes forever.
in fact. everything takes forever, except web browsing and google apps.
It's effed up. Never buy a Chrome Book or let someone else buy one.
Unless they just want to surf the web and use Google +

Going through craigslist worked. It brought up the SD card as an option.

thanks synthetic!
