"twice as good" costs twice as much, and thats the $80 I paid for a ti500. heres the breakdown in price:

tnt2u 32mb=$15(no one wants those)
geforce2 mx200 32mb=$25
geforce2 mx400 32mb=$35(better deal than the mx200, but people pay almost the same for the mx200 since its just as fast in low res)
geforce2 GTS 32mb=$50(a better deal than the mx400 for high res)
geforce2 pro 64mb=$70(get the geforce3 ti200 instead)
geforce2 ti or ultra 64mb=$100(dont know why)
geforce3 ti200 64mb=$80
geforce3 ti500 64mb=$110
geforce4 ti4200 64mb=$130(the most sold)
geforce4 ti4200 128mb=$150(dont be fooled, those are slower)
geforce4 ti4400 128mb=$199
geforce4 ti4600 128mb=$249(I got lucky.........)

geforce4 ti4600 128mb=$249(I got lucky.........)
really?i wonder what you think of my sapphire 128mb r9500, softmodded and overclocked to r9700pro speeds, which cost me exactly £0.00???

you got lucky? ha. My card destroys ti4600's AND im $249 better off than you lol

Haha!!:D

your not entirly wrong there but it wasnt me who held up the comp store

one of my buddys uncles used to work in a computer store but he got fired for stealing parts for his own pcs. the court made him sell all his stuff to pay back the money but he only had a week. so i bought alot of stuff but he never asked for the money so i ended up getting these for free

he was selling Athlon xps for like 30$ i brought so mutch stuff:D

my price guide is for those who buy off pricewatch, ebay or stores. I paid $150 for my ti4600 but I dont yet know if ill keep it, seeing the ti500 may be as fast

it ISNT. the deal is, ti500 and ti4200 play equally as well in a game that bottlenecks them both. Hell my geforce2mx400 plays as good as a ti500 in quake 3. Youd be stupid not to keep that 4200, because when it comes to a game like Unreal 2, you WILL notice a difference.
