I reloade win xp pro on my hdd and i left my olf file system in tact because i left some file in a folder that i knew wouldnt be deleated and it wasent but the files i put in the folder arent ther anymore does anybody know what i cn do to get my files back is there a program i can use

You could try PC Inspector. I tried it once and it did work. The best part is that it's free.
