4k on HD4600 4770k

Will the samsung - ud590 work on just the hd4600 intergrated graphics? I have a g1 sniper 5 and don't game so I am just using onboard video. Will I need a Graphics Card? I want 60hz too.

Looks like 24Hz at 4K.

It(iGPU) says it will support the res. As far as 60Hz if you board has DisplayPort or the latest HDMI standard (2.0) supports 4K res at 60Hz...

EDIT: Seems to be a board limitation as the iGPU supports it according to that document...

I have a display port. I know that it says 24hz on gigabyte but this is a new monitor that doesn't trick the graphics into thinking its two 2k displays. so I am curious if I can get it to 60hz without buying a graphics card? thnx

I would go by what the documentation says. If you are still questioning it, you will need to call/email Gigabyte.

So..... pay $160 for a new board, or buy a cheap GPU that can support it... your call.
