x800 xt questions, please

Yes, that is what I was thinking, but I figured people must do it for some reason I didn'y know about, maybe some feature of the card bios or something.. I guess not.
But as I asked earlier, am I right in assuming it will not decrease the life of the card because its the same hardware as an underclocked PE?

i flashed my card to xt-pe, and it was supposed to hlep me with my oc a little bit but i haven't really tested it

Well' the customer just picked it up, and it's clocked to pe speeds.. not flashed. He is willing to take the risk.

P.S. the OC to pe gave a bit over 1000 aquamarks. Was at 69640 or so, and after it hit 70888.
