Now that i can agree with, it's pretty difficult to find an anime that doesn't focus on bouncing boobs or having the audience fall in love with a character, or even to a major extint, a harem anime about 1 guy who chooses between several girls, it's very common.

I think we are all to blame, people buy sex or it's appeal, going back to what you said there are terrible people, and that might be why they took that stand, i don't have any fact statistics to throw out but i'm pretty sure the USA has a much larger crime rate than Japan or Korea, at the same time i'd never pin it on a genre, i believe people know what is right and wrong and it is the individual who makes the choice, take any criminal as an example and i doubt they were influenced by a specific media.

When you watch enough anime style media it starts to have a specific identity to it. Have you ever met new faces, for example of another race, chinese, japanese etc and many of them look the same to you? But once you are around them you begin to pick out certain things that make them unique and you can do this much quicker the longer you are around them and can seperate the diffferences, it's much like that, this character might be flat, but you know many many asian women are, too? Her face shouldn't be in question, it is just an art style and falls under "moe" which basically means a very pretty girl, in art, moe is generally as "cute" as it gets without being disproportionate.

Yeah my comment was alittle thin on details, she is against the censorship, she liked her Elin alot and created lots of art that represented how the originally looked, now she doesn't want to go back and change everything she imagined over this. I think it hurts us more that the company doesn't actually speak to anyone about it on the decision, you get a copy/paste response when you try and it dodges the question.

I don't think it would have been as much of an issue if the company didn't, Advertise them before the censorship, see we all saw them before they were changed, and then suddenly they tell us it's getting "westernized".

Well, since the character doesn't age, people are going to compare her looks to an age group of a race they are familiar with, which is humans. To me, if that character had the lifespan of a human and aged like a human, then that would put her in the young teen age group. Being in the young teen age group and being in "skimpy" attire isn't going to mix well with many people.

Personally, after your description of what the characters are, I don't see any problem with the character and her attire because it's not a child, it's a spirit. I'm sure the description of those characters are in the game, and I would think people would be able to read and realize what the characters are before making accusations of pedophilia because it can't be, based on the definitions of the character's race and the word pedophile.

I whole heartidly agree with you here, do you think it's possible that there actually exist types of people who would go out of their way to call someone those names just to get a rise out of you? Or worse, people who would follow in there tracks agree'ing with them to put you down?

I really can't find the word for it but really i'd say many people went the extra mile to be a douche like that over this event. I wanted to ask this community because i know just about everybody around here is outside of this box, calling her jailbait is fine in my book, but calling me a name because i picked that race is another, and that is what it had lead too, not just for me but hundreds of others on those forums, it actually ran people away from the game which from the posts being made, that is exactly what they people doing the name calling wanted, in fact they even want this race removed completlly.

Another analogy on that, remove the 50 caliber from BF3 because it's banned in california. You know? one of those real life to virtual situations that should never happen.

so my question is, how do you handel something like that? it's pretty difficult not to respond, it's been suggested to stay away from the forums entirely but i worry about the lack of support on this, i'd like to be steadfast about my opinion even though the majority of people there now are the A-holes that ran the others away, i still have my hopes it will be reverted, and i still have it pre-ordered, the amount of support over it is dwindling since people are going to other websites and forums to gather information about the game now.

TO ME it's frigging pixels, polygons, and textures! Peeps read to much into virtual "things" these days...like they're blurred or have lost focus what's real or not.

Now if it was a "live" character that is a young girl playing as this I'd kinda take issue.

CGI is fake with no realness to it except what your imagination takes it too...then it's your CHOICE on how you see it....but still friggin pixels, polygons, and textures no matter how you want to spin it.

As far as the subject at hand goes... I read about people at other on-line communities screaming the "P word" at others and all I can think of is "It takes one to know one". I see the image posted by the OP and all I see is a pretty game character, I don't see a "sexual" object, I don't see a "sexy girl", I don't see what the big deal is.

To me; those that get all bent out of shape about things like these are the ones getting the "funny" feelings and are reacting to those feelings/thoughts in a panicky way. It is an M rated game, supposed to be sold to and enjoyed by adults and I really don't think adults need to be protected from images that make them feel "funny".

Where are these "concerned citizens" when Powerpuff girls is playing? Three little girls, obviously minors, dressed in mini skirts and taking part in all sorts of violent acts? The horror!!!!!!
Where were they when Jem & The Holograms ran back in the 80s? A bunch of orphan teen girls that are turned into the sexiest rock band by magic? And they fight crime? Please, please, make it stop!!!!

What they need to do is grow a set, mature a bit and move on with their lives.

PS: I really like what the game looks like. I might have even bought it, but now that I know it's been "watered down" to make some weak minded people happy; I won't.

Thanks so much, after coming out of the flames in other places you have no idea what it's liek be around like minded people for a change. With that said, if you think you'd like the game i wouldn't let it deter you to much, it really is like no other iv'e ever tried, on paper it sounds like vindictus, but once you get into the 20's you have so much to do that pulling off your combo's feels rewarding, i like the game and even will still support it regaurdless of the people floating around, i have a feeling those people will be gone by the time subscriptions roll in, and any left from that will be gone soon after that.

I can ask around to find a CBT3 key if you wanted to give it a shot, CBT3 starts on the 9th (this coming Friday), shouldn't be to difficult to get one, or you can pre-order the "Regular" edition on thier site, they only charge $5 for a pre-order on the site and you can cancle the pre-order and get your $5 back after beta if you didn't like it, or, you can keep it or even upgrade to the collectors edition if you did like it. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say if you like First Person Shooters, and occasionally RPG's or vise-versa, this is pretty much it, putting some of the bad apple community aside it's probably one of the best games iv'e played in a long time.

Frankly I don't know why people give a damn, I'd play that class for the purpose of making lots of inappropriate jokes, is there a class with huge breasts but not so good legs? I'd make a team.

So if a adult is caught "playing with his stick shift in an automatic car" catch my drift while entertaining a magazine of similar type "spirits" as they seem to be called; in a garage of a movie theater & mall and gets arrested. Now what would that make him? Oh forgot to mention has 4 prior convictions of fondling children under the age of 13, possession of child porn, and a collection of "age-less spirits dressed very skimpy" umm what does that make him?
