Walmart has switched to asurion to handle its replacement plans and from my experience it has been nothing but a hassle.
I had a bad feeling once I heard the news but decided to give them a try beings there previous service never gave me any issues.


I purchased a remote control helicopter around Christmas and it worked well for a few months. Long story short it doesn't work
anymore and I needed to file a claim.


I filed and it stated I would receive a gift card and return label within 5 days. Nothing came so I gave them a little bit longer just to
ensure I wasn't being impatient. More time goes by so I request a new label be shipped. Only this time I receive information regarding
only the shipping label. I have contacted customer service several times and am still waiting for a response.


Has anyone dealt with asurion yet ? and how was your return handled ?


Ill keep this updated and post results once I figure out the outcome.
 
i used to work for verizon as a tech support specialist , alot of phones that we couldnt reprogram or fix or manually program or remote program , had to be replaced by asurion and let me tell you your best be is to ask for a supervisor or ask to speak to the escalation hotline if they still have let me know how it goes
 
Call walmart directly with any information you have... ask to speak to a manager, then their manager, then their manager.. eventually they will give you what you want regardless..

I used to work for them... they will never tell a customer no, if they escalate the claim.. hell we took back tvs 5 years old..
 
well needless to say its been 6 days since the last request and still no USPS label (said 5 days ).. they sent me a response to my questions but did not follow through on their claim twice that they would send me a return label and gift card.. I will be taking it directly to the store next time I go in with copies of emails etc..
 
UPDATE:


Took some more inquiries to get things handled but it seems everything is taking its appropriate course now. I spoke to a rep at asurion and they assured me :D that the return label would be delivered that coming Monday .. Also they clarified that instead of a gift card I would be receiving an email with a e-gift that contained purchase price .


Mailed it in and still waiting for email still but I have a few more days till I get concerned.
 
Still to this day I have yet to get my E-Gift email !! I have sent in another request but this is completely a joke !!
