Any word on ATI Tool and Crossfire support?

It does work for all CF except 2900's. These are my thoughts regarding 2900 CF.
ATI sucks? No overclocking in CF mode using Overdrive? ATI needs to get a clue?
Someone said ATI Tool does work in Vista for 2900's but I highly doubt that. Has anyone tried the new version of Rivatuner for 2900 CF?
