Help, My system shuts down after 5 - 10 seconds!

Some of the mobo default shut down temps are 85 degrees for the Prescotts, although they start thermal throttling at about 70 degrees. It might of only been running at 50% speed at 80 degrees though.

I have a new part on order I just hope my CPU is fine.
FWIW Intels have TWO thermal sensors in them, what your bios and board read (if they read the internal diode) are NOT THE SAME as the thermal protection diode which in nearly in the center of the core, it can not be read by us and is strictly used for thermal throttling and shutdown.
