Ok guys. Of ALL THE OLD GAMES ON CLASSIC SYSTEMS. Everything before PS2 (i.e. Nintendo, SNES, Genesis, Jaguar, PS ONE, N64). Name some games that you would like to see Remade into a Next Gen or a sequel or something. I'll Start

1. Rage Racer (Not Ridge Racer) [PS1]
2. EARTHBOUND (Greatest RPG EVER IMO. Still play it every now and then) [SNES]
3. Philosoma [PS1]
4. Captain Skyhawk[NES]
5. Wave Racer [N64]

Next? Toss on as many as u want.
 
I'm sick of all this "nostalgia" crap. I want to play a NEW game.

(...but bring on an HD redrawn Golden Axe.)

Don't worry about Rainman. He just hates everything ;)

The Lost Vikings (SNES)
Rock 'n' Roll Racing (SNES)
Earthbound (SNES)
Base Wars (NES)
Wave Race 64 (N64)

That's all I can think of for now :)

the phantom hourglass is in development for the ds. not a TRUE top down, but close enough. i'm not sure the release date, when i first heard of it, they were talking may 07. yesterday, i saw some website with it for preorder, and they had a ship date of 10/07... i hope it isn't still 6 months away.

Wave Racer was remade for the Cube.
I would love a remake of PilotWings(N64) and a good remake of Starwing.
 
well Nights into Dreams is coming to Wii so I finally got that wish....although the screens have yet to impress me.

Killer Instinct...we need another...fully 3D...Soul Calibur quality

thats all I can think of....we're so flooded with remakes I kind of agree with rainless

Wow. Scary. All those games are games I was trying to think of but forgot a couple.
 
Legend of Dragoon (PS1)

I don't care for PS3, but if that is what a remake/sequel is released on, I'd buy one.
 
I didn't play wave race 64 very much...but why is everyone loving this game?...wouldn't splash down have been pretty much your next gen equivalent?
 
wave race was fun imo because of the controls. jumps/flips/barrel rolls were never boring, even once i beat the game, i could just drive around for hours and hours trying different things.
