Whiterabbit, this is something I'm sure many people have thought about... But I don't think I've ever seen anybody actually try it. Cool! :cool:

If you've got a spare, you should throw that into the mix. You could simply use it as a second "radaitor". You could even clamp a smaller P3 / P4 heatsink to the base of where the CPU would usually go. (Not the most effective means of increasing surface area, but certainly may make a minor improvement.)
 
Dang, and I just threw one of those exact Dell heatsinks into a bonfire a few months ago. You know... For science. :chair:
