At least, for consumer IIRC.
I know, just ordered an 8GB set that was almost twice as much as the original 8GB I had in my desktop. But one of the explanations I've heard is that even though it's not already on the consumer level yet, most of the fabricators are already switching resources over. Don't know how accurate that is, but

Edit: Seeing ATMINSIDEs post, I guess it's pretty accurate

It'll take time, DDR3 was expensive when it came out also.

Hasn't the "mystery deal" been some sort of Seagate drive for a while now? Or is that what you were referring to?

The only thing that really caught my eye is that SS power supply.

Most HDD manufacturers distribute free cloning software for this purpose.

WD's free version of Acronis, for example: http://support.wdc.com/product/downl...l.asp?swid=119

Keep the OS on the SSD, and your music and stuff on a regular HDD

So be honest, how bad is that Kabini Quad-Core?

I answered my own question. Useless Socket type, and only 2 GHz. But it is a Quad-Core at 25W, so that's something...
