Just a heads up- Since Barnes and Noble has discontinued the Nook, they are selling the HD+ for $150. Hardware-wise, it's pretty similar to the Kindle Fire HD, but it comes with an SD slot, and is now almost half the price. If you are looking for a cheap full-size tablet, this may be what you were waiting for.

The stock software is annoying, but that is what Cyanogen mod is for :bday:

No I have not read anything about it....just a quick question, so you can wipe off standard OS right?

Second question. Will it run adobe reader and maybe flash player?

I bought one and flashed it to cyanogen mod 10.1 (Jellybean). It is pretty similar to the stock android found on nexus devices, but with a few nice enhancements. The whole process took about an hour with a how to on the xda developers website.

It should run anything stock android will run.
