hi, im new to these forums and i have a problem with my monitor, my acerview56e is missing one of its pins and i dont have enough money for a new moniter. is there anyway i can fix it?

You mean one of the pins on the cable plug itself? Those can usually be replaced as well as the entire cable. Maybe check with a local television repair shop...most of those repair monitors as well.

There should be places online that sell those plugs too. Seems like CompUSA even sells the plugs by themselves.
 
Thanx guys. I will try finding a new cable. and yes i meant the cable you plug to your pc with those pins, either one fell off or it just got burned from overuse.
