Just thought I's update this one a bit, that 100 feet barely fit everything on the cable runs, had to even move one speaker in a bit.
My old stuff was really horrible and had degraded it seems, I had to readjust everything volume settings wise all over, I freaked out at first after initially running the wire and hooking the new center speaker up. Was a bit surprised how much of a difference the new cables made actually.
I still love that receiver, Sony STR-DG520 AV Receiver 5.1 they are still selling dirt cheap it seems *shrug*
Varies I guess, still see em from 250 to starting bids at 21 bucks, but those go up probably.
The one for the sub woofers I need to replace, that was just a silly idea that seems to work pretty well.
And yeah, I've cranked em up a few times messing around, but like NiHaoMike stated, most the time I don't need it loud for nice full sound now I can turn it up about halfway watching a movie and it will almost blow you out of the house.
Volume not really an issue, once I balanced a few things, it has a nice full sound over all without distortion.
