changing ram timings

Okay so got some ram trying to figureout if there is a way to make them run faster or what. 4 gig current spd

Same timings as above. Same voltage as above everything the same except size.

Any insight would be appreciated

You should set memory timings that are working on higher capacity module. The point is that sub timings are for sure different and 4GB stick probably won't work with 2GB stick settings. Best would be to put 4GB, overclock it and later add 2GB stick. Also better will be to set all timings manually in BIOS after you test that 4GB stick.

Most boards will also read SPD from memory in the 1st slot and set them as auto.
