Can a Video Card be Sexy I submit YES!

why didnt they just wind force x3 that gb one? wow.. id never buy that ive played enough with 40mm fans to know that 6 or 8 or how ever many of them they have on that would drive me insane in my house.

^but in a flight sim the added windnoise realism would be unparalleled. <---potential marketing ploy

i have 1x 40mm server fan on my guest pc sitting on the north bridge in a p183 case which dampens the sound. and that is still really quite loud over the rest of the system.

So indeed we have different DCUII versions, but they are all named the same. I guess because most people wont notice it and they do believe that they get the full package. Generally no bad design, both of them. One fan does cool down the heat from its main body directly located at the GPU. Both got 3 pipes spreading heat away from GPU however:

At the "sexy" version: 2 of them are double tubed, and lot more spreading between many different, although smaller heatsinks.
The non sexy version: All 3 will spread heat to the second sink which is handled by the second fan. The advantage is that they are fully copper made, disadvantage is the low amount of material and less spreading.

Five 40mm fans in quad SLI = 20X 40mm fans! That thing would sound insane.
