need to decide between these video cards

I'm running a system at the moment which is very much not geared for games at all, however it's more convenient to run a certain doom source port on (with 3d models, high-res textures, etc) than my gaming system for technical reasons. At the moment, it has a radeon 4350 in it, which is fine apart from when things get busy in the source port. I'm told that most of the doom source port developers mainly code for nvidia - in fact, one port was dropped due to constant complaints about performance with ati cards.

Anyway, with nvidia cards, I have the choise between a GT 210 for $20, and a GT 610 for about $60. I have no idea what these are like compared to a radeon 4350 as there are no benchmarks out there comparing the two. Am I likely to get double the performance from the 210? I'm hoping that the 610 wouldn't be much more powerful than the 210, because $60 is just too much for the amount of time I'd actually be using it.
