combined with the visa credit card offer purchase that saved me 30 bucks the total including tax and shipping came out to 308 bucks. now the only thing I need to be able to play basically every single game at full resolution is a graphic card and it has many expansion pci slots for those as well. The only thing that's kind of weird is they say shipping is free yet they charged me.

seems to me they cant decide which computer it is

I read some good reviews of the site though:
http://www.epinions.com/content_142840336004

and either way any of those 2 set ups Im happy, you cant find a dual core processor for anything lower than 400-500. The 200-350 dollar comps for black fridyad eals, etc. I was looking at have single cores of like 2 ghs or crap like that.

ya but there is a HUGE HUGE diff in performance!!! between the 2... i would be a little warry of that and contact them first before buying anything..... or if anything, get the rig, save the site, say you didnt get the system you ordered and charge back.

so which one would be better? And will the lower performance one be still good for today?

8800 GT. You should be able to find one used for that price. Can someone fix the multiple posts? Complete accident.:eh?:

not new. Id have to ebay it. And I have no clue about the pci slots as the last time I upgraded a card it was agp and my power supply was almost not enough for it. So Id have to know for sure it will work or probably pay 40 bucks for bestbuy to do it :(

Also when you put a new graphics card in you may need to install a new psu which will run you 50-100$.
