When using Debian and Debian-based distros, my screen shifts about 3/8" to the right, is there a way I can correct this through xorg.conf? (Currently using etch)
I can shift the screen position with the monitor controls, but then I have to do it again when loading up Windoze.

It sounds like under Debian your refresh rate is different. Some CRT monitors will display different refresh rates that way, if I remember. Try matching the refresh rate in windows and debian if you can.
