I guess im all out for switch mode psu's not putting noise back into the mains.

Somehow/some way things sound more intact recording wise... Goodbye digital edge to the sound hello to overall tonality of individual recordings

Well I use a ground wire for mine with iron core copper wire wrapped around it and diodes. Tons of chokes are crucial cause that is were the noise filtering comes into play.
