So I'm new to overlocking and I've been trying to software overclock my laptops cpu but nothing seems to work. I've tried SetFSB, AMD Overdrive, and Systool but none of these have worked. The options to overlcock are always grayed out or not accessible. So I'm looking for some help on how to go about this the right way or if it is even possible with this computer. I'm also aware of the heat and battery issues overclocking a laptop can cause but it's not a problem. The laptop is an ASUS N61DA if that helps. Thanks for reading I hope someone can help.

You can't. The software tools won't offer any overclocking options not found in your bios. That's why they are grayed out.
