I can't believe the cpu's tempeature readings anymore.
I've had 3 different cpus and 2 different cases, and always the cpu temp readings have been way too high, even without overcloking.
Idle temps stay somewhere in between 25-35C, bt when playing etc the temps go really high
1. Cel 300 50C
2. P2 350 50-60C
3. Celeron800 60C

I have an asus p3v4x mb, and i know that asus boards usually show a bit higher temp but i've had enough of these readings.

I'm gonna try measuring the temps with an external temp monitor. Now whats the best place to put the probe? Between the heatsink, or where?

Oh yeah, the cel800 goes nicely to 1066, I love that cpu....
