FD want I have the cash, I just need a reason. Still playing games on a lonely 1080P monitor, and $600 is a lot for an upgrade for a 670 that's only barely starting to struggle at higher settings.

It's an enthusiast level card built specifically for abuse. If you can't decide if it is justifiable than you have no use for this type of card

Look at the Asus DCll flavor
They have great power as well and are typically priced very competitively

Great price on this card though

You could push + 100 mv with stock cooler for something I the 1130 range 24/7

On average but nothing is sure thing if you get a crap chip

Yeah, I kind of figured as much. And if I could justify a 290X, there's no way I'll get an Asus, EVERY Asus product I've owned, from bluetooth adapters to a laptop, since an old s939 A8N-SLI has been defective in some way, shape or form
