Ok I was told that the XP 21.83 was the newest. I found a web site that has the 21.85, 21.88 and the 22.50. What`s the best the last three are beta`s so should I just stick with what I have now.

I got the 2280's and I think they are really good ,I came from the 2183's but havent tried the in between ones yet.

For me, 22.80 works best (you can grab it from http://www.guru3d.com). 22.50 gave a nice 300 3dmark2k1 boost when compared to 21.88, on my GF2MX. Had to reinstall Windows at one point and decided to install the 22.80 drivers.

I think 21.83 (or .85?) is still the latest official WHQL-certified drivers, the rest are leaked.

the 22.80's worked great for me in the way of performance, but when I would get home from work and wake my monitor... all I had was a white screen and had to reboot. There was a post here about others having similar issues, but most said the performance gain was worth it!

A little testing never hurt anyone... give em a shot!

The 22.80 gave me a 8% increase over the 21.83 with my Geforce2 GTS... nuff said.

The 22.50 beta drivers gave me 400+ points or about 10% over the 21.83 det drivers. I have the 22.80 downloaded but I have yet to try them maybe after this next wu is finished I'll give them a try.

Alright I've done some testing and it seems as far as pure 3dmark points the 22.80 beta drivers are better.

22.50

3d00 - 10424
3d01 - 5484
Q3 demo 1 - 178.6fps

22.80

3d00 - 10635
3d01 - 5510
Q3 demo 1 - 176.8fps

Re: Unreal T

Myself and I said:
I can not seem to get open gl to work in this game

Unreal t looks dark and gloomy

try installing the newest drivers for videocard if not that then get some updates for the game...

I upgraded to XP, and ran 3dmark2K1 with the 12.80, 14.10, and 22.80 drivers. The 22.80 got more than 200 points than the other two with my GF2MX400 at stock. So yeah, I'd go with the 12.80s. Unfortunately, in XP, they don't give you an option to OC in the drivers.:(

There's a new version on detonators again, 23.10 - I just downloaded them from Guru3D & installed them. Got 3027 in 3DMark2k1 with 22.80 and 3129 with the 23.10 drivers. I think I'll stick with the newer ones.

I just got a GF3Ti200 and the monitor wouldn't wake out of sleep mode. The only driver that fixed it was the 22. 80. so Im gonna stick with that one for a while.

If it works, stick with it. Don't be afraid to update, just keep the a copy of the version that works, in the event you have to roll back to it.
