Hi Folks

Getting some decent (not great) results with pcmark and 3dmark but for some odd reason, the core speed and dram frequency shown by cpu-z after running those apps are crazy.

Measurements are fine before actually running the benchmark but are screwey until after a reboot.

Dropped the cpu speed and graphics down but it's not making a difference.

Any ideas?

Wow Funsoul you must have some serious cooling to run those FSB and Clock speeds. :D

I have seen that before on the results page of Futuremark but not in Cpu-Z after a test. Maybe Tech Tweaker is right, try a different Cpu-Z

Mobo related. ;)
Clock generator is getting hot. Sink the PLL or point a fan at it.
Happens on a few boards I have.

Thanks everyone!

Switched back to an earlier version and it works :)

btw...added an extra fan and tried everything at default and 1.35v on the cpu. Pcmark Vantage still errors out saying that something went wrong or I pressed cancel, pcm05 fails with benchmark aborted (during test 7...hdd).
