Computer reboot when loading a save game

I'm not sure about ssd drives, but can they begin to fail in a way that would cause rebooting without bsod?

I'm sure an ssd could start to fail. ... but I'm not sure .. you can run programs that will test the health of your ssd. Have you tried putting game on different drive?

Im not sure this is the right place for my problem, i added on because the symptoms seem similar, but outside of the icestorm demo, my issue seems random, i played DayZ the other day for like 7 hours without issue, then last night after 2 minutes in i got the reboot. im thinking it might be more like a short issue but i dont know how to test for that shy of installing into a different case... which im probably not far from trying.
