Why does everyone rant at them?

There decent motherboards, there not the best but hey, there decent economical quality motherboards.

I agree w/ you. Not the best o/c mobo out there but very stable.

Yes, I agree.

Ive worked on 3 of them, one of those is mine.
Has onboard sound and lan.
All 3 will run at 150FSB with stock memory settings, and better than average cooling. Not bad for a $55 motherboard.
Slap a 1.0-1.2 Duron on this thing and you have a very affordable PC going.

I built my very first puter using this board. I'm using Duron 1.1, 256MB DDR, XP Pro, the Onboard LAN/sound and I'm very happy with it. I hope to OC the cpu in the future.

I just have one quick question for you guys that know this board; When I up the mem clock to 133 (100/133), the system freezes during 3Dmark2001 SE. Can you guys tell me why?

I have built 6+ of them for clients, using 1gig Durons to XP1900+. I am very impressed how stable and reliable they are. Add some decent PC2100 and they are sweet. Good bang/buck ratio!
