Need to install specific service?!?!?!

OK you windows gurus... how the heck do i install a specific service... as i stripped it from windows pre install and i need it for ICS... the service(s) in question are Remote Access Connection Manager, and Remote Access Auto Connection Manager.... id really rather not go back through the whole process of stripping windows and reinstalling to fix such a simple thing.

If this is Windows XP (you did not specify), maybe try reinstalling just the Service Pack 3...?

From a command prompt, type...

sc create rasman (Remote Access Connection Manager)

sc create rasauto (Remote Access Auto Connection Manager)

... and then reboot.

im sorry, this is on Win 7 32 bit...

it looks like the sc create doesnt work in win 7. but i ended up just redoing the windows install with a properly stripped version.

Although id like to see if i could install sevices for future reference.
