new oc3d thread

the other thread got bloated so here is a new one!!!

It has been suggested that we all combine into a single username and jump into the top 20 or top 10 even.

Anyone on the OC 3dmark team who'd like to do this, post here and also post your suggestion for a meta-username.
OC3d est. 5/22/02

PURPOSE

There's an OC 3dmark team. Many of us Fold for Team 32. This thread is for a new meta-username for the 3dmark team folders to join if they wish- OC3d, which is brand new and is now rocketing to the top of team 32!!

The new folding username will let us 3dmark team members who fold combine all our power and get big-time production. It'll show Team 32's members what (some or most of) the 3dmark Team members are contributing to F@H. In this way it advertises the 3dMark team to members of F@H team 32. We're putting a page about it on the 3dmark Team's site so it will also advertise F@H Team 32 to the members of the O/C 3dmark Team. (We have already contacted most of the current 3dmark team members about this by Private Messaging)

The 3dmark team has already gained a couple of new members from the Team 32 ranks becasue of this. And at least one inactive folder on the 3dmark Team has now come back to Team 32 under this new username.

A dual purpose is served plugging both of these fine Overclockers.com Teams. Members of Team 32 will see what the 3dmark team is adding to the cause. And folders on OC3d will be able to reach an all-time high production level by combining into this single username.

JOINING

For those users who do fold and would like to be apart of the 3dmark team can check out the official THREAD
If you are part of the 3dmark team and would like to help out the folding team and OC3d then you will find out all the answers to your questions HERE

We're going to enter the contest which starts on the 14th. You can either change back to your personal username for the duration of the contest, or go with us as a team. If you fold on a personal username for the contest, count yourself out of this system.

How we want to handle it as a team....

1) Nominate yourself for any prize that you can use as an upgrade or put into a new box. There will be a random drawing between the nominees should we win something. This assures the prizes can find a good home and improves the odds slightly for the nominees.

(to be updated as necessary)Current nominees and heirarchy of prizes:

1- Duron Morgan 1 Ghz: BamBamXK, Cullam3n, Walter:-),

2- Swiftech HSF: Arkaine23, BamBamXK, Cullam3n, Walter:-), Yobbz

3- Elsa GF2 GTS 32Mb DDR: Arkaine23's roommate who folds for us- call him Wesman, BamBamXK, Cullam3n,

4- D-Link NIC:

5- Tt Golden Orb: BamBamXK

Ok, I guess I don't have to change back to my old username

I could use both the Swiftech and the Duron.

Fold on!

We got our production back up! 58 points per day. Must of been those Beta expiring on us. I know it caught many of us by surprise. We now stand at rank 88, and about to break the 800 barrier. Good work guys

ranking

Check out the prototype ranking system in the 2nd post of this thread. It doesn't reflecty the power of AMD, but it at least compares our rigs and farms on a purley Mhz level.

OC3d

We're members of the O/C 3dmark team... Don't worry, OC3d is a part of Team 32. The 14 of us just use the username OC3d instead of having personal usernames. Check us out in the stats, we're in about 80ish right now on team 32.

yeah, arkaine is working on that. the problem is most of us have overclocked athlons so we don't know their exact PR rating.

the point is personal stats don't matter so we don't care about having our own names. Also all of the people in OC3d are also on the 3dmark team. so, it is just a way of us doing something together.
