Directx errors when OCn at a gig.....

Running a radeon le see my signature for further specs.
at a gig it is stable in everything accept hardcore games like UT... wondering if it is my video or memory causing the problem... I had improved my memory's bandwidth by tweaking and it did not help...

Well from my experiences. The first signs of instability while overclocking are while running 3D apps! If I go any higher then 1008mhz with my PIII 800 I will get the same problem. It will run perfectly stable in windows but will get random lockups or BSOD's while gaming.

You could try upping your core voltage a bit. That may stabilize it. Or even raising your V/IO voltage may get it stable.
