I've got a BP6 that's going together in the next few days and I'm stuck with a cooling solution that will be more than enough for a couple of 366s@550, but I don't want to have to deal with the extra noise since this rig will be yet another in the room with me.
I'm going to be using two YS-Tech 38CFM 7000RPM fans. Thing is, due to a problem before, I spliced these fans to use only one 4-pin molex connector because I ran out of 3-4 pin connectors and didn't want to order anymore.
What I'm wanting to find out, is what type of rheostat would be able to withstand both of these fans. I'm only wanting to use one to provide resistance to both fans to keep down on the clutter. This will be used mainly to set and forget the fan speed so I don't have to deal with the whine of them.
Never used anything like this so I'm clueless. Thanks :]
