The review.

Vcore and VIO adjustments along with FSB and DRAM tweaks aren't bad.

Apparently Iwill is having problems resolving the multiplier issue... I've heard from some of our friends over at 2CPU that rev 1.4 boards are still coming w/o multiplier options.

Ho hum.... I'll stick to the K7D. The only thing it's really lacking in over the Iwill is DDR voltage adjustment.. which **could** appear in a future BIOS update. (not that I know whether it will or not)

Yeah, seems to me like the K7D Master is the best for tweaking and overclocking these days.

donny_paycheck - Hi - you obviously haven't tried the Iwill MPX2 or read the www.burningissues.net review: I am typing this out on one running at 167FSB, with 2x 64-bit 2-channel SCSI hosts installed, w/ a 6-drive array [not yet] having suffered any data-loss.

The K7D is a nice enough board [& cheap]; but nothing like the Iwill, which is a 'clockers delight.

I haven't heard of any other MPX-chipset board which will run 24/7 at much over 150FSB - most, indeed, can't even get there.

Welcome to the forums.

167FSB on a 760MPX? That's the highest I've heard of yet by far. I don't have one. I haven't even seen it for sale anywhere until just recently.

Hi - we've has three of them for about a month - these are the rev 1.3 boards with multiplier-adjust through the BIOS.

They're just about on sale now in the States - but these will almost certainly be the rev 1.4 boards with [apparently] no multiplier-adjustment - Iwill are nuts to abandon this feature.

There's nothing quite like it . . . the nearest thing might be a properly-made VP6.

I haven't tried maxing out the vcore & VIO - it felt like 175FSB was about the limit air-cooled.

The MPX2's available for sale are all Rev 1.4. They have no support for multiplier adjustment. They do have working FSB adjustment, even over 150.

Read about my experience with this here...
