Ordered a big Pelt

So after my big meltdown last month i ordered new parts, a MSI KT333 Ultra and a XP 2000+. I also upgraded my cooling tower a little with copper pipe instead of silicon tubing and other small changes like using a radio shack relay and mounting a standard 110 V plug on the side of my case that goes live with the computer.

I've overclocked this processor with not that much success. I can only get to 1.818 at 1.85 V. Only a 150 Mhz overclock and my temps are 35C idle 38 C full load.

So yesterday i decided what the hell and bought a 226 watt Peltier, a cold plate and some other stuff that i needed/wanted.

What kind of stuff makes the best insulation and what should i coat the motherboard in to prevent shorting? This should be a pretty sweet setup when i'm finished.

BTW i'm using a DD Maze 2 block.

Let's just pray that you know how to use that 226W Peltier I don't really think you need to, if you're just gona clock an XP chip. Water cooling is sufficient enough. Squeezing an extra 100mhz or even 200mhz isn't worth slapping a 226W peltier on let me tell ya.

But for the condensation prevention, use closed cell foam and silicon up your CPU slot and all around it.
