Question Ignore list problem

I was just looking at the mac post here in Forum Comments and Suggestions and for some reason it says William is on my ignore list. I went to look at my ignore list and I have no one on it. I never have. I updated it and it still says the same thing. I was wondering what was going on with that? William would be the last person I would want to ignore.

My guess would be that it's a default of the board to ignore postings by guests, which any posts by William are before the forums software switch in late august.

How do you recognise something that is still technology?
A good clue is if it comes with a manual...

yea, same here.... it looks like he's on everyone's list while they're in the 'forum comments and suggestions' thread. Outside of that, it works like it should...

strange....

I'm experiancing the same thing, but look:

The post right below the one in which "William" is ignored quites a member by the name above. One of two things came to mind right away:

1) He has some strange ASCII character in front of his name that he's figured out fools a vB Bulletin board.

2) He's got a head script. Damn hackers!

It's partly because William changed his name from dunno260 after those posts were quoted. At least, that's what the reason for the name quoted is. It's also partly because when we switched software to vbb, the displayed name became the account name, which it wasn't before. This means that some people had the same account name...but different accounts. This is why William and a few others are all guests prior to the forums switch, and I'm sure is also why they are ignored (being that they're guests and automatically on the ignore list).

Most of that is fact. The only thing that isn't is why they're on the ignore list, though I'm almost positive that I'm right about that.
