They'll work together in a RAID config, but the larger drive capacity over the smaller drive size will be lost.
You may as well try t he set up with what you have..determine if you like RAID and whether it will provide the added performance you expected.
Then if you decide you want to have a 100 Gig RAID capacity, rather than 60 Gig, buy the additional 100 Gig drive, clone the RAID array to the 100, clone the clone to the 60 and clne the RAID to the two 100 Gigger drives.
