The motherboard says it works with 2100 and 2400, but will it work with 3000 and 3200 and still get the benefit of having the 3000 and 3200?

yes, you should have no problem getting faster DDR to work.

i personally plan on buying some corsair XMS3000 in the next month for a bd7-ii system i'm building...believe me the same question went through my head, but it got answered :D

on what mhz will PC3000-3200 work normally?
200mhz?

of course you got the right choise, because with the BD7-II and the 3:4-ratio, your RAM will run at 177mhz and more!

with FSB150, the RAM will be at 200mhz...

the more you can push the FSB, the more your RAM will kick ***

Is that corsair a lot bettter than some ocz 3000? At newegg the ocz gets good reviews.

....and at about 170fsb ddr equals pc800 rdram bandwidth

I would say 180fsb would equal pc800 rdram.

yet what do you do to reach my bandwith...133x4x2=pc1066????

you can also look at my 160fsb scores.....

is 3200 at 2.5 cas better or 3000 at 2cas???
they're about the same price, which would do better?

the 3200er is better, although it only will run at cl2.5 (probably it will make cl2!)...

you have more chances to raise the FSB and RAM-frequency!
