apparently my new 8500le has the all digital dvi-d connector while my supplied samsung cable has dvi-i cable. Since these analog/digital signals cannot run at the same time I am thinking to knock these analog pins out of my samsung cable and fit that in to dvi-d port on 85600le.
However I dont want to burn anything, especialy my new $1k LCD...what shall I do. Buy new dvi-d/2/dvi-d cable?
