alright...well i have a microsoft internet pro keyboard (the one with the usb ports) and the caps, num lock, and scroll lock LEDs are green...and i want blue ones...so can i just change them out?

Just open it up and see if they are regular LEDs, if so all you would need to do is cut out the green ones and solder in the blue ones. As long as they have the same properties as the green ones. You may also need to change or put in a resistor, depends on the LEDs

I'm not sure how to tell if they are the same or not. I read something once that explained how LEDs worked and how to choose the correct resistor for them, but I don't recall it saying how to tell the differences between LEDs.

Good Luck!
